Introduction to ADHD

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental condition that causes symptoms related to attention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity in individuals of all ages. These symptoms can manifest differently for each person and significantly impact daily life, including school, work, and relationships.

Our introductory session runs over 90 minutes and is designed to provide an overview of ADHD, including its symptoms, causes, diagnosis, available treatments, and management options. Whether you have ADHD or would like to increase your knowledge about it, we can assist you in understanding the condition and exploring ways to manage it. We welcome everyone to these sessions, including people with ADHD, those waiting for a diagnosis, parents, grandparents, teachers, and anyone interested in learning more.
